There are times in life where we all need to talk through something that just feels too complex to share with family or friends. Whether you're a people-pleaser, an overthinker, living with social anxiety or constant tension, therapy provides you with a valuable investment in time for yourself. Together, we can develop a deeper understanding of what makes you you, identify patterns that no longer serve you, and help you to improve and enrich your life. As someone with lived experience of ADHD,

About me and my practice

My approach is calm, relational and grounded in the nervous system. Together, we make sense of your patterns, reduce overwhelm, and explore ways of living that feel sustainable, achievable and genuinely supportive.

If youre looking for a therapist who understands shutdowns, burnout, dissociation, anxiety loops, perfectionism, peoplepleasing, emotional dysregulation or identity confusion, youre in the right place.

Therapy with me is steady, collaborative and paced around your capacity. We work gently but effectively, helping you:

understand your emotions and patterns
reduce anxiety, overwhelm and shutdown
regulate your nervous system
unlearn survival strategies that no longer serve you
build selftrust, boundaries and internal safety
feel more connected to yourself and others
I pay close attention to what helps you feel safe, grounded and resourced. You dont need to arrive with everything figured out we work it out together.

I work particularly well with:

- neurodivergent adults and young people (diagnosed or selfidentified)
- trauma survivors
- peoplepleasers, perfectionists and overthinkers
- those living with chronic anxiety or emotional overwhelm
- clients navigating identity, masking, burnout or shutdown
- LGBTQIA+ clients
- young people struggling with school, attendance, anxiety or SEND needs
If you recognise yourself in any of these, youre welcome to reach out.

Initial Consultation

What to Expect in Your First Session
Your first session is a gentle, structured assessment where we begin to understand what you need from therapy. Its a conversation designed to help you feel understood, grounded and safe from the very beginning.

We will explore:
what brings you to counselling
what feels difficult right now
what you hope might change
where you feel underresourced or overwhelmed
what support you already have around you
what helps you feel calm, safe or settled

This helps us identify where you most need support and what direction feels right for you. From there, we begin shaping a personalised therapeutic plan that fits you your nervous system, your history, your identity and your goals.

You remain in control of the pace and direction at all times.
